IT’S BETTER TO KNOW WHAT WE TEACH,

THAN TO NEED IT AND NOT KNOW IT

Firearms Training

At Silverback Self Defense, we offer self defense classes, self defense seminars and corporate self defense seminars. In addition to our hands-on self defense training, we also offer firearms training. We live in a very scary world and it is getting worse everyday. Because of this, many of our clients desire to learn the basics of handgun use and/or obtain their license to carry. We offer opportunities for groups or individuals to train in a different atmosphere. With smaller groups or one on one training we approach hand gun training differently than many ranges or gun training businesses.

These classes are available upon request and are more individualized and unique. We never check a box in the training we offer but rather insure that our clients feel comfortable, safe and confident in handling their firearm. We know that you cannot control everything in life, but we believe you can control the situations you place yourself in and can accomplish the training you need to be prepared in all situations.

Many women worry about protecting themselves or their loved ones in the event of a crisis. Learning how to shoot correctly can ease these fears. A women’s only self defense seminar helps women gain confidence with their firearm without feeling self-conscious about their ability or skill level. We create a safe and encouraging environment for women to learn, feel safe and confident.

This class will involve both classroom and range time with the emphasis on handgun laws as well as the handling and shooting of a firearm. This class will focus on the fundamentals or handgun use including stance, grip, breath control and trigger control.  After learning shooting basics, that knowledge is put into practice at the range with a series of shooting drills. Our instructors are present and will guide and instruct throughout the time at the range until our participants feel secure and confident in their abilities.

Women walk away from this seminar and feel equipped to continue their training and move forward with their license to carry.

License to Carry (LTC) Class
