Campus Safety and Sexual Assault Seminar @ CMAF

This seminar is open to high school seniors through college age. 

Basic training focusing on awareness of surroundings and avoiding becoming a victim. We teach hands-on striking techniques and how to escape the most common grabs, chokes and holds.

This seminar also includes ground defense that would be used in a sexual assault situation. Our goal is to teach how to

Some of the things that will be covered in this seminar include the following: 

  • Awareness of surroundings and how to avoid being a target
  • Best practices when moving around campus
  • Date rape, parties, parking lots- smart tips on how to stay safe in different scenarios
  • Social media safety
  • Basic self defense training- striking, how to escape grabs, holds, and chokes
  • Self defense in sexual assault or other ground situations
